What a complete pack contains
Dimensioned 2D drawings with appropriate tolerances, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing where function requires it, material and finish specification, a bill of materials, assembly drawings with sequence, and revision control.
We produce these to your standards and title blocks where you have them, or to ISO conventions where you don't.
Tolerancing that means something
Over-tolerancing is as expensive as under-tolerancing. Specifying ±0.05mm on a feature that doesn't need it adds cost to every part you ever make.
We tolerance against function — what has to fit, seal, align or carry load — and leave everything else at general tolerances. That single discipline often removes more unit cost than any geometry change.
Documentation for existing parts
Plenty of companies manufacture parts they have no proper drawings for — legacy products, parts inherited through acquisition, or items only ever defined by a supplier's own model.
We reverse-engineer from samples or existing models and produce a documented pack, which is usually the precondition for re-sourcing or second-sourcing anything.
