OXXO, one of Mexico’s most iconic convenience store chains, engaged NEWO Design to create a fun and engaging digital activation for its loyalty program, OXXO Premia. In partnership with the renowned Tecate Pa’l Norte music festival, the goal was to increase visibility and participation in the program through a gamified, mobile-first experience.
We designed a mini-game flow as part of the campaign’s digital touchpoint—an interactive experience that rewarded users for engaging with the OXXO Premia platform during the festival. The game served as both an entertainment piece and a conversion funnel, encouraging new sign-ups and rewarding existing members with points, perks, and exclusive access.
The UX was tailored for festival-goers on the move, prioritizing speed, clarity, and visual excitement. The UI matched the energy of the event, incorporating dynamic branding elements from both OXXO Premia and Tecate Pa’l Norte for a unified, immersive experience.
